Sculptress
She was born in Sabadell and since 1973 has lived in Castellar del Vallés, where she has his sculpture studio and permanent exhibition of her work.
From 1968 to 1974 she studied Fine Arts and graduated in Engraving, Printmaking, Relief, Restoration of Antiques, Ceramics, Decoration, Painting and Sculpture, specialising in the latter discipline.
Between 1978 and 1997 she ran her own school in Castellar del Vallés dedicated to teaching clay modelling to children, adults and especially to nativity scene makers from different towns in the province.
On the occasion of the Barcelona-92 Olympic Games she created the ‘Olympic’ sculpture, which was presented to the political and sporting authorities involved in the event, including Pascual Maragall, Juan Antonio Samaranch and the Generalitat de Catalunya.
For 30 years (1983-2013) she has been the sculptor of the firm ‘Elisa’ making an annual collection of decorative figures for various countries of the European Union, USA, Canada and Japan, with regular exhibitions of her work in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Paris, Brussels, Milan, Birmingham, Frankfurt, Utrecht, Toronto, Montreal, Sydney, Auckland (NZ), Alberta and Misissauga (Canada).
Since 1982 she has been collaborating making nativity scene figures with almost all the Associations of nativity scene makers in Catalonia and Spain and since 2006 also with nativity scene makers in other countries of the European Union and the USA.
Her works are currently part of the private collections of nativity scene makers and collectors from all over the world.
